Although Apple is expected to unveil its AirPods Pro 3 earbuds alongside the iPhone 17 and Apple Watch Series 11 next week, one feature may still be in development.
Per an anonymous tip, the AirPods Pro 3 will feature two health sensors. The feature itself has been long-rumored, and after surfacing on the Beats Powerbeats Pro 2, it seems more likely. The other health sensor is said to be a temperature sensor that could appear in the upcoming AirPods Pro model.
Another feature that may not initially ship with the AirPods Pro 3 units is Apple’s rumored live translation feature. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the feature has been in development at Apple for some time, but could be part of a later software update.
Apple is slated to hold its media event on September 9.
